Dae: How Does Your Character...

I filled this out. I'll do Frankie's next.

For those interested, here are some ramblings:

1. Greet
Dae is super friendly and loves people. He's very polite and gentle when meeting someone for the first time. When greeting a loved one, he gets excited and loud and is prone to big, lung-crushing bear-hugs.

2. Stand
He was raised with an impeccable posture and is very capable of standing board-straight for hours on end. When he's in comfortable company, his posture is loose and easy but still remarkably proper.

3. Eat
Again, he was raised to be very polite and proper in this area. His elbows never touch the table, he eats small bites, chews with his mouth closed, and puts his fork down in between bites. This doesn't mean that he won't curl up on a sofa with a bowl of ice cream, but he's still very polite about that, too.

4. Drink
Super polite and proper here, too. He loves tea and drinks a lot of it, but he never slurps or slams his cup down.

5. Start Laughing
Here his manners may go a little astray. He usually has something in his mouth and it is the life goal of his friends and family to get him to snort it out his nose. Whether he's eating or not, he usually snorts in his nose and throat when he starts to laugh.

6. Laugh Quietly
Daemion has a distinct sort of quiet chuckle that is heard frequently. Those that love him love this laugh and he gives it freely and readily. It's a quiet sort of throaty sound usually paired with a lopsided grin or a wrinkled nose.

7. Crack Up
He's usually on the quiet side, so it takes some doing to get him to this point, but it's pretty gratifying. He throws his head back and starts of with a long 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAH HAAAA HAAA HAAAAAAAAAA' and then, catching himself, buries his face in his hands and quietly quivers, gripping his belly and squirming.

8. Cry
Daemion's actually rather open about his feelings and isn't too terribly shy about crying in front of those he loves. This can range from quiet sniffling to full-on weeping, but usually settles somewhere in the range of quiet hiccups and big, fat, crocodile tears. (His nose gets really red no matter how much he's been crying, though.)

9. Yawn
Polite about yawning. Covers his mouth and doesn't usually make any noise, and he'll turn his head away if he's around other people.

10. Sleep
After the Fire, his burn kept him from sleeping on his back or his left side for a long, long, time, and as a result, his default position is on his stomach. He may occasionally lay on his side (usually curled around his wife) but eventually he ends up on his stomach again. As a result, he has a permanent catch in his neck.

11. Sing
He's not particularly fond of his own voice, so he doesn't sing too much. Other people like his voice, though, and he can occasionally be prodded into a performance. His voice is raspy and deep and has an old-soul tone to it.

12. Dance
He's been learning to dance since he was very young. He's fairly good at ballroom dancing and he and his wife look amazing when they dance together. He'll just dance to the music by himself but never in the presence of strangers.

13. Write
Writes left-handed. Closes blind eye and tilts head, placing his good eye very close to the paper.

14. Say Good-Bye
He doesn't like those. 8C
